Refund Policy

UniqueKidz takes pride in offering high quality craftsmanship, and 100% customer satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase upon arrival, you may return it to UniqueKidz for a full refund or store credit (issued online). You must create an account with UniqueKidz before a store credit can be issued.The item must not be worn, washed, or altered in any way. We must receive the purchased item in its original condition before a refund or store credit can be issued.

Non-refundable


Because many of our products are custom made, refunds or store credit cannot be issued for customer order errors (eg., wrong color, wrong size). Personalized (child's name on product or custom colors) items cannot be returned. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Return Process


If you intend to return the item, you must contact UniqueKidz and wait for further instructions. If your item is eligible to be returned, we will send you a return shipping address.   The item must be returned, in its original packaging, within 7 days of receiving your order. Returned items must be shipped with a USPS tracking number, and return shipping is at the customer's expense.  UniqueKidz is not obligated to refund any item returned without prior authorization.

Refunds or Store Credit (if applicable)


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund or store credit will be processed. A credit will automatically be applied to your UniqueKidz account, credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)


With Shopify Payments, refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear back in your account. Please Note: some refunds are processed in the form of a reversal, so the original charge is removed and a separate credit is not issued to your account. When a charge is refunded inside the authorization period of a charge (partial or full) you might not see a line item on your statement for a refund as Shopify will simply adjust the capture amount for the charge when it settles. You might still see the charge as “Pending” on your statement until the period expires.
 If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

Clearance sale items (if applicable)


Unfortunately, clearance sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)


If you need to exchange an item for the same item in another size, you must contact UniqueKidz and wait for further instructions.  If your item is eligible to be exchanged, we will send you a return shipping address.  The item must not be worn, washed, or altered in any way. The item must be returned, in its original packaging, within 7 days of receiving your order. Returned items must be shipped with a USPS tracking number, and return shipping is at the customer's expense.  UniqueKidz is not obligated to exchange any item returned without prior authorization.

Gifts


 All of the above Refund Policy applies to gift returns. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a store credit for the value of your return. If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
